The 787 landed yesterday and flight testing will begin Thursday if weather conditions allow.

I've attached photos of the landing courtesy of the Columbia Basin Herald.

check out flightaware.com and flight BOE1. It shows a 787 en route Boeing Field to Moses Lake with 15 minutes left in flight. A good tool to see if the dreamliner has filed a flight plan.

I've been camping near Lake Wenatchee the past 5 days and have heard #1 flight testing everyday. I'm only hearing the 787 side. Been interesting to hear the problems and testing.

Also, getting check ins with SeaTac from commercial jets heading westbound 15-20 mins out from landing. Busy check in point.

You hear anything on 152.915?

7/29/07- 152.915- No tone decoded. 3 guys were on here joking back and forth with each other about the WSP speed enforcement. I could listen to Air-6 calling out vehicles for the ground units, then switch to this one and catch color commentary about the way he called the descriptions. The guys on this channel mentioned "Air-6" by callsign, and noted the fact he'd recently been in the Tri-Cities area as well. Both either had scanners or two-ways, as I could hear the WSP traffic as they chatted. A license check shows this freq as being part of a network of "for hire" repeaters, but this was simplex traffic. Very strong in Leavenworth proper.

By summer there will be six 787s in test. Expect to see them come and go unpredictably, as weather and test requirements determine where to fly. There are at least four different paint schemes, and enough detail differences to make them all unique.

When the full crew gets aboard, the non-ATC radio traffic will dry up.

The 747-8 will fly sometime this winter...

Has the 787 been sending on ACARS? I decode ACARS data here in Oregon and was wondering if it was sending anything.
