I don't think it's local, but very strong. Canada? I know they use FRS too.

strong. I have forgotten to try another receiver to see if it’s the 780, which I doubt.

POCSAG 2400

Try running POCFLEX on it.

Make your life easy. Use PDW110 with the soundcard input.

sounds too fast for POCSAG assume its post discriminator but that sharp peek on the data burst will corrupt any decoding that is there.

what about Ethernet RFI? that's what it sounded like to me.

also if you have never seen this gem

POCSAG 2400 sounds faster than POCSAG 512 for obvious reasons. Or are you saying that it sounds faster than POCSAG 2400 ?

Using the site you suggested:

http://www.kb9ukd.com/digital/pocsag24.wav

How do the sounds compare ?

Post subject:  Re: 467.6625

I thought it was too fast for 2400, but I also had this sharp overdriven RF on the frame tone.

in VLC I heard a almost constant ping ping ping that was overdrive more RFI

after you post I ran it in WMP out of cuerosity and things sound better there for sure! (more like pocsag)

I assume its how VLC is play a mp4 file on my computer incorrectly..
edit/my VLC seems to play MP4 2x as fast as a normal mp3
