On today's show ladies and gentleman: 155.970 (77.0) R Here's what I know: -Licensed to WSP state-wide -It's a repeater output -It's law enforcement chatter -It comes in weak and sometimes not at all on the scanner in my truck -the frequency is a repeater output for WSP on White Pass and I think Puffer but the tones don't match mine nor others records Here's what I don't know: -Who's using it -where the repeater is Let the game begin! |

Not much shows up in Oregon nor Idaho... KSZ982 in Oregon County of Crook shows that freq as an input... |

What I have been able to find so far show that the game wardens and liquor control agents use that frequency. It is also listed as a statewide wsp common frequency. So the repeaters could be statewide. Nick |

Calispell repeater. South & East of SR-20 & SR-395. Or, Slate Peak repeater. North of SR-20, West of Mazama. Or, Stevens... |

155.970 can be used simplex and I have also seen a statewide repeater system. The PL tones used are the ditrict PL's. Example given: D6 would be 123.0, D4 179.9, D3 173.8 I have not tried to key the repeaters. Interesting that 77.0 is being picked up. That is NOT used in the WSP scheme. Maybe you are hearing the Crook County input if the car is up high enough and using a 110 watt mobile. |
