Verified tonight with my 396XT that this is Naval Base Kitsap. TGID 23808 sounds like military police. They mentioned street names and this tipped off their location. The data on RR is not accurate for the DOD P25 system. :? |

For the Puget Sound Naval shipyard, the designators you might hear: Pxxx/Nxxx (patrol) -> NESCOM. Ft Lewis units (MP/DoD) referred to the communications center as 'Protector' (previous variations: Enforcer & Defender). Mobiles uses(ed) patrol areas as designators. Gate duty at both bases uses(ed) the gate name as their designator. This info is five years old though. |
