Dunno if this has been covered before, but I had about 30 minutes to kill near Qwest Field today, so I programmed up their LTR system. This was my first try with an LTR, so I hope I got it right. The fact the PSR500 moves the freqs into the proper LCN was a lifesaver... Freqs: Ch-1 451.1875 Ch-2 452.1750 Ch-3 452.9750 Ch-4 451.4500 Ch-5 451.8375 Ch-6 452.1250 Ch-8 461.0750 Ch-11 452.750 Talkgroups seen: 0-11-181- Security? 0-11-182- 0-11-183- Maintenance working with a water leak 0-11-184- Whoever this was, they were working in a locker room 0-11-186- Housekeeping, and Juan was caught sitting on his ass when he should have been taking out the recycliing 0-11-187- Setup crews? Wil you are unbelievable! You can find more stuff in 1/2 hour that would take me a week to find. You should be working for the NASA without the A. :D |

Tip for GRE/Radio Shack scanner users that don't have the PSR-500/PSR-600/Pro-106/Pro-197: Set your bank as conventional and each channel as LTR. While in the scan mode, the scanner will stop on an active frequency and show the current talkgroup that that frequency is broadcasting. Hit MAN and it'll show you the RXX in the lower right. Note that if the bank is set to conventional, it will not trunk track the system. Revised 02 452.1750 03 451.4500 05 452.9750 07 451.8375 09 452.1250 11 452.7500 15 461.0750 Unknown 451.1875* 451.8750 Talkgroups Will do this later *Probably not part of this system. |

Sweet, I'm able to track the LTR from my home with LTR analyzer. I'm picking up LCN 09 on 452.125 at the moment. I'll update this with data later tonight (after the game.) Should have a lot of juicy info. Update: Here's what I can confirm using the analyzer: LCN 03 451.45 LCN 05 452.975 LCN 07 451.8375 LCN 09 452.125 LCN 11 452.75 LCN 15 461.075 No other LCNs are reported to be active other than the above. Perhaps the remaining freqs are backup? According to FCC (licensed to First and Goal), they have also 451.875 and 452.175 licensed to them. FCC says fixed units power is only 10w ERP. Mobile units are 40w ERP. Groups so far: 0-11-082 0-11-083 0-11-181 0-11-182 - Janitorial Services, later heard "Guest Services" 0-11-183 0-11-184 - Food services? 0-11-185 - Security 0-11-186 0-11-187 0-11-234 - Sounds like Committee officials, organizers, etc. - talking about trophy pres, etc. |

I plugged my above LCN info into my BCT-15 and went up to a high hilltop. Was able to receive quite a bit. I didn't have my analyzer set up with me, but the above info worked great. |

451.1875 is using D116. Not part of the LTR system, but I'm trying to figure out who it is. Sounds like simplex. Lots of talk about trolley motors, and then one guy just mentioned that he'd be sure they'd make the news since "King5 is right there." Closest thing ULS provides is Lakeside School District. Two guys talking like nobody else can hear them. Based on the traffic, I'm guessing it's KC Metro Transit maintenance. |

451.8750 CWID's as WPIQ898. I'm hearing school bus ops with lots of mentions of Lake City. Very staticy, no tones seem to be in use. |

Well remember several of the freqs are shared, so it's kind of a guessing game. e.g. 452.975 is used by Bellevue Place as well as Qwest Field. According to my LTR docs, usually the shared sites will use ODD number sites and the other will use EVEN number - which makes sense for those two. I think Qwest uses only the LCNs I mentioned on a FT-basis. I don't think the other 2 freqs are in use on the LTR trunk - or perhaps they're overflow channels. My LTR doc says that Admins don't usually enable the idle OSW identifier signal - like the other channels (that key-up every few seconds you hear.) |
