just scanning around tonight and caught some sort of action on *LERN* TG 62864 sounds like officers at Puyallup Fair. Sounds like some arrests being made outside "Sillyville" PD asking for a car outside "purple gate" for an "extremely combative subject" I would guess that *LERN* is being used as the main comm channel for PD working the fair??? hearing this here in Newcastle/Renton tonight 9:30 pm

PD and SO arresting people right and left at the fair tonight. Several reports of "gang signs being thrown around" Just made two more arrests as I write this. good listening tonight.... :beer:

Fairs near densely populated areas have historically been a 'target rich' environment for LE ops.
I would save time if LEO's could simply run names upon entrance to the carnival section.
A sort of fishing.

Man, that's got to be pretty embarrassing to be arrested at a fair...

Now, speaking of fairs, someone told me at Expo 86 that Interpol had a field day with arrests there on some people.
