Can someone else listen in to this freq and see what they hear?

I'm hearing it from Seattle to Renton to Auburn. It's repeated, and seems to be a security operation...Mulitiple buildings, warehouses, garages, cafes, etc. Units are "Mike-xx", "Frank-xx" and Security Control. Building 33 comes up a lot.

It's gotta be a spurious image of some kind, but I can't find the same transmissions anywhere else.

I'm thinking Microsoft campus security...

The only thing licensed in that area is 454.450 WPXN970 - MacIntyre, Scott C
which has 4 locations and is used for paging. Have you tried 459.41875 to see if there is an input you can hear? Also try 454.450 and see if that is the same thing you hear on 454.41875.

Building 33 from my trips to the MS Campus, is the conference center. Was there any chatter about meetings or something?

Microsoft isn't licensed on any 454 freqs. 453 & 456 yes but no 454

454 is generally all paging frequencies... I wish theyd open them up due to lack of need. Id have to look and see how many two way voice channels there are there...

The frequencies allocated to the "RCC" Radio Common Carrier Service -- (non-landline Answering service companys & telephone companies) are now assigned and used as "rental" channels -- like the 460 mhz business "IG" frequencies. A private vendor most likely is providing radio service to a private business user.

No on the input; and even if it is MS, I don't get up that way often enough to listen.

Also, nothing on either side of it...NBFM? The audio sounds pretty compressed.

Lots of security traffic, fire alarm testing, doors locked, but a lot of codes used as opposed to plain english. No mention of meetings...Yet.

At first I was thinking it was an error on some programmer's part, and propogated through cloning, but that would've been caught with the repeater installation, right?

I remember a certain major shipping terminal in Seattle used 30-40 freqs in the UHF band (all simplex), and channels 35-40 went something like:

35- 469.425
36- 469.450
37- 469.475
38- 469.500
39- 469.525
40- 459.550

Someone must've slipped when typing in Ch-40. Of course, the FCC license listed 469.550...

Mike9 is doing a roving security patrol in the Studios West garage until further notice.

Crap. Just CWID'ed at 22:51 and I wasn't recording. I'll make sure to record at 23:21.

22:54 tones similar to Seattle Fire. Mike1 & Mike3 and dispatched to RTC Garage for a fire. They were advised that fire has ___ dispatch.
22:55 FD on scene. It's not Seattle. Their logs show they're not doing anything anywhere right now.
22:55 Mike2 went out of service.
22:59 The panel reads ____ smoke detector. Dispatch can't read him so he asks him to landline something (sounded like PSOP).
23:02 Battalion 11 cleared. This information was provided to Mike1 courtesy of Dispatch. Few seconds later he had Mike1 call him.
23:04 Mike9 told dispatch Studios West Garage was Situation Normal (SNAFU imminent?)
23:05 Mike9 called Sam30, then called Mike3, Mike2 answered. Mike9 wanted to know if they needed assistance at Redmond Town Center. Dudes keep mumbling which is getting annoying. Also wish this wasn't CSQ.
23:07 Rebanellas(?) is on site. Dispatch told to stand by for a name.
23:12 Officer 302 in service as Mike2 (or something like that, numbers might be wrong).
23:16 Dispatch told Mike3 to do something, but he mumbled the entire time.
23:20 Mike2 is going to be out of zone at Redmond Town Center to help Mike2 with some keys on the fire panel.
23:21 Mike4 came in service.
23:21 Mike1 is clear of RTC and enroute to main campus for a customer rove(?)
No CWID
23:30 Mike9 is clear Studio Charlie, the situation is normal there.
23:35 Sam30 called Mike4 and asked him to do something. Whatever it was, Mike4 is enroute.

Redmond Town Center? MS does have three office buildings leased over there...and that would be north of the main campus?

Studios West? Well Microsoft Studios is in building 127 which is across SR-520 at the most western part of the Campus.

Another one I remembered was the 26 South garage entrance, which at the time made me think hospital security. Then I sobered up and wondered how a garage would get onto the south side of the 26th floor...
