I recently did a search of the Tacoma system on CC 868.250. I used BcTool logging and found over 250 talkgroups.
I don't know the identity of most of them. If anyone would like to check out the results, I have attached the csv file.

BcTool is nice but very buggy. I guess the developer stop programming for it due to real life stuff.

Use IDTracker 2 to track talkgroups. It'll also save audio to your PC so you can figure out what stuff is... very handy.

PS. You should scan the Puyallup site as well and see what groups appear. Good way to figure out what is Puyallup vs Tacoma.

Truer words have never been spoken :D

Looks like I'm going to have to get another sound card, I didn't realize how much better IDT2 is compared to bcT for searching for new stuff.

Today I am running the BcTool log on the Puyallup system, CC 868.5750. I'll post the actual csv tonight or tomorrow with the First & Last hit with date and time, Hit count, Freq/TGID, Mode, Tone, System, Group, Channel, and Audio listed.

Can anyone fill in some of the blanks in the Tacoma file?

LESA answers 9-1-1 calls for the jurisdictions of the Pierce County Sheriffs Department and the cities of Tacoma, Lakewood, University Place, Gig Harbor, Edgewood, Steilacoom, DuPont, Fircrest, Roy and Ruston. Additionally, because LESA is a Primary PSAP, we also answer 9-1-1 calls for fire and medical aid and are responsible for transferring those calls to Secondary PSAPs, such as Tacoma Fire and Pierce County Fire (Fire Comm). http://www.lesa.net/

yea I bring up questions on development all the time on the yahoo group and get killed for it.

ID tracker just released a new version BTW, unitrunker is also real great to use because it will show all the emergency calls etc that take place.

I couldn't get any of the other CC monitoring programs to work consistently with the Uniden scanners. I would like to pick up a used Pro-106 or GRE-500 if only to use it for the cool software features.

I've been debating about modifying my Pro-2006 to get its discriminator output.

you got a 996 or 15? the D-Tap is super easy they even show you where its at on the PCB, or the new GRE and Uniden X line all have a dtap built in now.

272 "Law Scan" VHF simulcast of WSP, PCSO, smaller towns. I usually lock this one out as it is constant.

1616? Lakewood "Events" is what I had earlier.
I thought Lakewood, Steilacoom and Dupont shared the same TG for dispatch? 1040
45702 Puyallup Fire tac3?

55152 Puyallup Fire 1?
496 Puyallup Fire 2?
336 Puyallup PD F1
368 Puyallup PD F2

How many Puyallup FIRE TGs are still active since they shifted to Central on the VHF?

I suppose 994 is still valid as Fair 1.

I have 944 for Fair PD and 528 as Fair FD but that may have changed, most of the time Fire is on VHF but every once in awhile I hear them on the Puyallup trs.

Here's a Puyallup log file for one day, not much to it.
