The commissioners of Orting Valley Fire and Rescue had requested that East Pierce look at merging Orting Valley into East Pierce. East Pierce commissioners decided that they could not honor that request at this time, saying they thought three mergers at once would overwhelm the East Pierce Command Staff. East Pierce is moving ahead with it's plans to merge Edgewood Fire District #8 into East Pierce and to annex the city of Milton into East Pierce. Just keeping everybody updated. Nick |
