Looks like it used to be a private helipad. There are at least 2 new buildings up there, both Microsoft. I believe they call them Advanta. I was only inside the ground floor of one of them. |

LOL. If that was a cell site, I never saw one that had writing on the ground...Sadly enough like Rich said, that site use to be the Bellevue Airport until property taxes got to be too much (Thanks Bellevue!). By the early 1970s, it was a very busy little airport, with a total of 51,000 takeoffs & landings per year. They stopped operations in 1980. Ever wounder why the street poles on the off ramp of I-90 and 148th Ave SE were painted red and white? In the Google site, you can even see part of the old runway.
