Congrats! Don't know her name, didn't catch it. As of approx 7:15 am this morning is retired after 30 years of dispatching! Was SNOPAC's best dispatcher by far, people who listen to this system will recognize her voice as the older lady who always sounds very calm and collected. All the best!

This lady dispatched SCSO deputies on South dispatch. Probably others too. Sounded a bit older, and yes had a very distinctive voice. Sounded in her upper 40s, not granny like but very mature voice.

Edit : yes well....granny like I would say.

Note : The units are already pissed off at the newbie she was training! She was doing status checks on the transit units (pukes) and after she didn't get an answer from one of them she sounded a tone and asked again and the transit unit came on and said "coooooooddeeee fouuuurrrrrrrr" I laughed! It was hilarious! Those transit units are so unhappy!

I believe her name is Marilyn nick name Dragon Lady and she once retired already and contracted herself back to SNOPAC if the story is correct.

Marilyn, AKA Dragon Lady has not been dispatching for years. She use to be so damn snappy on the radio. But was good at what she did. I had the pleasure of meeting her one time when I was down at SNOPAC nosing around. She looked exactly as I imagined.

Attached is the audio in question from earlier today.

"This audio clip was not Marilyn AKA the Dragon Lady. Wrong person"

Correct. Thus my comment that Marilyn has not been on the radio for years.
