Heard these today, from atop Lakeland Hills in Auburn (prime spot):

154.295 (131.8 )- This is the old Tacoma FD dispatch, but who is using it now?

153.965 (DPL 023)- Cops chatting with dispatcher about case numbers. FCC says it thinks it's Orting PD; I thought they were on 151.xxx now?

It's also in the database as this:

KITSAP CO PUBLIC WORKS/WASTEWATER (153.965 IN + 107.2 & 110.9)

Could you have been hearing some cops in Kitsap using this as a tac frequency?

I should've known that...It's the response channel after dispatching on the old DEM channel, right?

I dunno...Most of the Kitsap county stuff was coming in fairly broken (but Grays Harbor SO was 5x5 from there). From that location, I'd say Orting is a better bet...I'll investigate a little more next week.

OK, so CPF&R dispatches on 154.295 (131.8 ), and response seems mostly to be on Ch-15, which is 156.240 (173.8 ).

Also, 153.965 (DPL 023) is Orting PD, with an apparent input on 151.130 (DPL 023). I may have those reversed, as the FCC says 151.130 is the repeater, but 153.965 gets out alot further. I was in Orting for 3 hours today and only caught one trasmission on it, a status check. Saw an Orting officer that had someone stopped, he appeared to be running their name via Nextel.

Yup, Orting PD has the input/output reversed from the license. Should hear the same dispatcher on Buckley (155.01/103.5).
