I see the Temp Licenses for the Hydro Race, but authority doesn't start until Sunday.

Any idea what Seafair uses for the Torchlight Run on Saturday and the Torchlight Parade?

Thanks

there was another thread on the issue, typically I believe that the mic and key club runs communication in addition to contracted radios for "Staff" in the other thread taco listed the company.

We had like a 5 page thread on this 2 years ago - throughly reviewed, I believe we did figure it all out.. Just search under "Seafair".
As always, if you notice changes, please post!

Traffic control and parking rovers were on TAC 2. The cops on bikes and in cars were on TAC 3(3504). The Mike and Key radio operators would relay information from net control to the parade marshals.

The places to watch the paraide with the best view were the balconies at City Hall and 901 5th.

Was wondering f if anyone had any freqs from last year related to: Showboss? control? any freqs related to the other Mil. Flight demos that will be up this year aside from the B.A.'s?? Aside from that I know from listening last year, that the Seattle PD had a couple of TG's active with patrol boats on the water as well as SFD. I don't recall them right now, but i do know that they were very active and that they were on Tg's that i had already had in the Seattle system( nothing new that i needed to find). USCG also was extremely active with thier usual Marine freqs.

On the SPD side, it's good to monitor the "Command 1-6?" and "TAC 1-4?" channels.

Found this on the boards from 07' Seafair, would some or most of these be used this year?

In no order:

867.6375- SPD (?) Police Explorer scouts in pit/park areas (simplex, freq is one of the State-Ops ones)

166.950- 114.8 Unk modem data

157.175- USCG "SouthCom" Command

464.7125- (141.3) Seafair log boom/tender boats

469.4875- (D431) Seafair hydro officials

461.1375- Seafair Ch-4 Tickets/gates

139.8125- Blues CommCart

118.975- Air Boss for airspace control (Skysigns, Chopper 7, etc)

464.7875- Seafair ops, poss ch-9

469.6375- Seafair ops, Ch-8

464.550- Unk hydro crew, limited races

155.970- WSP 'State' channel, Bridge closing ops

156.135- OSCCR channel, WSP/WSDOT ch.

155.445- WSP chat Car-1

155.460- WSP chat Car-2

464.8425 or 464.850- Seafair ops

Most of this was Mark's deciphering; I've never listened to Seafair before.
