when i put in skagit fire tac 3 and mount vernon goes on a call i can not here anything i have tac 3 as 155.685 did they change there tac or do they use mvc and no radios on this channel also when i put in 155.050 for state patrol i here nothing did there channel change to there is no update on intrcept any help would be great thanks

State patrol is on 155.505 not 155.050.

Interesting. I don't see 155.685 listed as "TAC 3". Perhaps its erroneous information from another source. For MV you could give 154.235 a try and see if that works.

The input is only licensed as narrow band so the output would also be narrow. Seeing it key up at all? Using PL on your receiver?

I have noticed with Mt. Vernon FD (and only them) that when they switch to a tactical channel thier transmissions become less audible and there is what sounds to be a data burst at the end of the broadcast. This only comes from the field units - Cascade comes through loud and clear. Is this due to the narrow band?
