when i put in skagit fire tac 3 and mount vernon goes on a call i can not here anything i have tac 3 as 155.685 did they change there tac or do they use mvc and no radios on this channel also when i put in 155.050 for state patrol i here nothing did there channel change to there is no update on intrcept any help would be great thanks |

State patrol is on 155.505 not 155.050. |

Interesting. I don't see 155.685 listed as "TAC 3". Perhaps its erroneous information from another source. For MV you could give 154.235 a try and see if that works. |

I have noticed with Mt. Vernon FD (and only them) that when they switch to a tactical channel thier transmissions become less audible and there is what sounds to be a data burst at the end of the broadcast. This only comes from the field units - Cascade comes through loud and clear. Is this due to the narrow band? |

The data burts could me MDC1200 signaling. |
