I am looking for a new battery for my BC245xlt. It takes a Uniden BP-180. I know it can be ordered through Uniden. I also know that Radio Shack has one that can be ordered over the interent that they say will replace it. I know there used to be a battery shop just off of the north end of Tacoma Mall. Does anyone know if the store is still there? Would any of you have other local Seattle-Tacoma battery resources which I might contact?

Many thanks,
Wayne

No you're not likely going to find this anywhere local.

The BP-180 is backordered according to Uniden's web site.

Here's your best bet. This newer battery fits the BC245XLT and gives you TWICE the listening time and it's IN STOCK! The stock battery is 800mah and this is 1600mah.

Wayne,

Try www.ebatts.com, they have the BP-180 in stock for $14.63 and they are in California.

Their toll free number is (877) 432-2887
