Update: Now there is a report of one of the schools in the area having been let out after they got a "report" that the bear had been caught. Dispatch is saying there is about 500 kids and parents in the area now and things are "quite chaotic" Should be interesting. I love how this incident plays out every spring and they act as if there has never been bear sightings or incidents before. Hello, people we live in "bear country" its springtime, the bears are waking up and hungry and looking for food. Just cracks me up. |

They are saying that this is possibly the same bear that was spotted in the Magnolia area Saturday night / Sunday morning then chased around Ballard last night and this morning. Some people are speculating that the bear swam across from the Olympic peninsula and ended up at Discovery Park in Magnolia and some are saying that it hopped on a train and ended up at the interbay rail yard........but who knows. It's just like the one that ended up in Des Moines last year, no one knows where it came from. |
