It sounds like there's no longer any traffic on 154.070. Has ValleyCom finally abandoned the two-tone pagers and toneouts and gone to alpha paging for everybody?

They actually tried shutting it down the end of March but encountered some issue that they had to turn it back on.
Apparently that issue has since been resolved and now it's gone for good. :(

so is the control channel all that I need to enter or are there other frequencies I need to program in too.

Enter in all the channels and let your scanner figure out which one is being used. As for the Control Channel changes from time to time.
