I've seen some of the earlier threads here about the DOD 380 system, but wasn't able to determine if a trunking table was established or not that works, any ideas? GRE 600/pro197

Can you guys let me know if you have any luck and how to monitor Fort Lewis Fire! I don't care about Range Control or MPs just Fire My Brother is a Fire Captain on Engine 2 they have 4 Stations and will soon merge with McChord due to BRAC . New Base will be called Lewis McChord Joint Military Installation. One Fire department with Army taking the lead.

So with the new alignment, any idea what's going to happen to the both systems? Is Mccord going to move to the 3xx range?

Haven't heard a fire tg yet

8107 seems to be one of the MP tg's

8530 has some interesting chat "Arabic role playing Captain" and so forth.

DSTE nailed it in an earlier thread.

8115 is FortCom Fire Dispatch
8116 looks like Tac 2
8117 looks like Tac 3
8120 is another Tac
8121 is Madigan Disp
8122 is another Tac possibly for Madigan (MadCom)
8315 is Forestry Fire
8320 is Hazmat Responder

oh cool thanks. I'm only able to hear the 380.2125 cc so I probably miss some of the comms. That and encryption.

380.2125 is Site-02, the IR at Gray Army Air Field. you should get a vast majority of the traffic off this site, in my experience. Also, the ONLY encryption I've noted on the system is by one user on the "Gate Guards" talkgroup, 8104. The "Scouts Out" gate user is usually running in secure mode.

Ok, I still get a tg like 8107 that will hang but no audio, not sure if the digital setting needs to be tweaked or if it can. How high up is the Gray site? It seems to boom into Olympia. I was thinking maybe they had something on Crawford Pk. I checked all your posts from last spring and entered the tg's. Did the McChord system trunk tables works out ok for you?

1- I'm not sure how to tweak the digital, if you can. I'll re-check my settings on the 500 and reply later.

2- The Gray site (I know right where it is) is 353', atop a tower that seemed around 35' tall.

3- I don't recall where I got the McChord tables, just that they work. They recently added another freq to the system though.
