I see this as WSP Bellevue on the state patrol page. I went to Mt. Rainier today and heard quite a bit of traffic on this frequency between Graham and Puyallup. It didn't sound like any state patrol traffic I've heard on any regular SP frequency before. Any ideas? I don't see this frequency identified with any other user in King/Pierce counties....

Probably a leaky bleedover of 159.1125, the Fife/Milton PD dispatch freq. It comes from a water tank on North Hill in Edgewood/Milton, and it's audible for a long ways.

Could be - I was getting stuff on that frequency as well but locked them out :-) and a city pd would make a lot more sense for what I was hearing.

That was originally a DOT channel that they gave WSP. Since it ended up going largely unused, the frequency was redistributed to someone else (not sure who).

In any case, you're correct in guessing that it is no longer a WSP channel. Given that, I'm not surprised by the nature of traffic you heard.

Happy listening.

How ironic! That takes care of my question!
