Interesting; the only other train traffic I've caught is TG 400, BNSF.

Doesn't that new rail system they built over the last few years run to the airport? What is the context of the traffic you are hearing?

Light Link Rail has a few talkgroups on the KC/VC system. 60648 is Link Control and 60144 is Yard Ops. I have some more notes on a different computer. Light Link Rail is scheduled to begin passenger service between Westlake station and Tukwila station sometime around June/July; service to the Airport begins November(ish).

Where are they running to now? Just Seattle? I see the trains running on the tracks that run alongside E.Marginal Way S. and 599 in Tukwila. I haven't kept up on exactly what stage of service they are in.

Basically wherever and whenever they feel like running it in order to "test" it. I've heard operators log on (with their instructors telling them what to say on the radio) but I've never actually seen any of the trains. But I don't live or hang out anywhere near those tracks.

I only see them from time to time when I get that far south, but have seen trains on both sets of tracks traveling in opposite directions.
