How does the Puyallup/Central Pierce merger impact the Puyallup 800 system? I assume that since Puyallup FD will no longer exist, and they will become a part of CPFR, that they will then be dispatched on 156.240, respond on 154.160, and will no longer utilize the Puyallup TRS. Can anybody confirm? I believe the merger takes effect on 1/1/09.
Also, anybody know what the new station numbers are going to be for the former Puyallup stations?
For the first part, I'd assume they'll just patch over the 800 talkgroups to the VHF. CPFR is going 800 soon enough anyhow, at least after they get the Portland Ave tower going...
