Post subject:  SNOPAC stops transmitting on VHF

As of today SNOPAC is not transmitting on VHF 154.235 East County Primary Dispatch only 800 TRS TG 656 . And no more tones, just voice dispatch only. And with some units you will not here go en route or arrive on scene due to the use of MDC's

What a bummer.
I know they have been slowly going away over the last several months. I'm really going to miss those tones. :(

At the rate they get things running around there, I will be long retired before they can put the new outdated equipment into service. :P

Nozzle Heads = DELAYS and OBSTICLES

I have no idea why it is when dealing with police its's "just tell me what I need to do" and fire goes kicking and screaming because something changed from how it has been done for 50 years.

I have a theory, and for once Im going to keep it to myself. ( I have been told that I need to be a little more politically correct) :mrgreen:

Now to get back on topic,

I have found that even though the VHF stuff seems to be going away, I keep ending up with new stuff to program into my old scanner anyway. :shock:
