Now that everyone knows exactly where I live, it'll come to no surprise that you all know I live real close to the Federal Way site of the KC Metro system. For those that have no idea what I'm babbling on about, here's the license: WQHJ935.

I drove by today and noticed a crane and a boom lift. Sorry for the crappy quality, but I only had my camera phone.

I walked in about 20 feet and was shooed away pretty quickly. If only they knew how easy it is to get in when they're not around. But I did ask and find out pretty much what I wanted to know: the system isn't going online for at least a couple of years. I just didn't find out where this new microwave is connecting to. (Shortly after picture 1 they brought the bracket around). The pair on either side of the boom lift point at Squak and Rattlesnake. You can't see them, but there's actually two water towers, and both have cellular TXers on top. I only had 2/5 bars, so sure enough, they truned 'em off.

I think that is where FWARC has 2 of their repeaters.

they likely shooed because of the use of the crane, most constructions co' pay large insurance and you getting a microwave on the head isnt something they can afford.

those some huge pic

I didn't feel like resizing it. Or you're on a tiny resolution.

I'd been wondering where their repeaters were. For some reason I had always assumed they were in the general vicinity Station 62.
