Listen to the King/Sno/Tacoma systems tomorrow (Wednesday the 27th) after 0930....there may be some interesting listening on the mutual aid talkgroups... |

Los Angeles County does a complete countywide interoperability test at 9 AM Tuesday morning and 9 PM Thursday nights -- every week. It includes the County SO & Fire, Police and federal agencies (SS, FBI, USCG, etc.). The biggest problem with "Interoperability" or mutual aid is that in a real emergency -- no one will know how to use the system or who they can communicate with. Not once a year, or once a month, but at least once each week. |

I had my scanner set up to log but my PC BSOD'ed just before 0900. The scanner kept going; my PC sat at the login screen. |
