It's that time again so in order to avoid "death by 1,000 seafair posts" I give you the annual Seafair sticky thread. Seafair data is best found by searching the board for past years. Alot of the information and advice remains the same. Go to http://www.interceptradio.com/bbs/search.php and type Seafair in the box. Here is a good thread from 2007 to get you started: http://www.interceptradio.com/bbs/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=1619 and 2006: http://www.interceptradio.com/bbs/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=1153 I'm sure many experts will follow in this thread with any known updates for this year. |

Found what appears to be an EDACS system on the USS Germantown (LSD 42), in Seattle for Seafair Fleet Week. 397.300 395.975 397.050 <-- Control 397.450 No joy in tracking it, however. |

Blues set-up was very strange this morning. Every time that 'tower' transmitted their transmitter held like the vox was on on each freq he would transmit. Finally got it resolved 1 minute before fat albert arrived. One of the solo's had a warning noise (no visual) so went back to trade planes. Half the show with one solo. There were trying 255.4 for a while and also gave the trouble report on his pane on 238.15 They talk on the comm-cart freq in the morning like no one is listening!! -m |

I was not actively listening this year, but SPD was active on 4048 with the Harbor Patrol and I think there was activity on one of the Mutual Aid TG's 62448 or 62480. |

Blues, again had comm issues. Today it was at the begining of the show. Took the solo's forever to find a usable freq Funniest call had to be last night. 'we need an aid car for 25 year old male, oh now he's unconscious, he's really high... |

They spent about 10 to 15 min doing comm checks and then turned Fat Albert back because they ran out of time. But at least the Angels did finally get to fly. |
