As of today: 169.725 (97.4) Comm Center, park law enforcement and ranger dispatch 163.075 (various) Input to 169.725. PLs noted were 131.8 and 141.3 170.375 Telemetry at top of Chinook Pass As I was leaving the park, I caught some P25 traffic on the Comm Center freq, but was driving and unable to note it. Sounded like crap though. I also caught PCFD District 26 units 2601 and 2603 chatting it up on OSCCR, 156.135. |

163.075 (107.2) is the input to the Gobbler's Knob repeater at the fire lookout. |

So glad to see any news on Mt Rainier frequencies, thanks. What does the telemetry do? Perhaps that isn't the right way to phrase that question, but I'm having to learn a new language here. Things have changed so much since I have done more than just turn the scanner on and listen. |

Telemetry is my catch-all term for data being broadcast via radio from point to point. Sorta of like how most water/utility meters at businesses have antennas on them? See also SCADA. |

Would that mean they would be a voice transmission we could listen to? Thanks for the info~ |

While there are many here that are only too happy to listen to data for hours at a time - there's nothing for a 'normal' person to hear - no voice. |

Thanks Mark, data is definitely not my thing. |
