Cencom's new simulcast system for fire has gone live. I can hear it relatively clearly here outside of Renton. All are simplex except for Fire 2, which is the repeatered response channel. All dispatching countywide is now on Fire 1, all responses switch to Fire 2 except for major incidents which are assigned to 3-5.

Fire 1: 154.370
Fire 2: 155.025
Fire 3: 155.775
Fire 4: 153.770
Fire 5: 154.415

I've also been listening to this. The Police stuff is coming online as well. I had plugged the "new" stuff into my scanner months ago following the RFP document from last year. Looks like some modifications have been done to the final assignments.

So far, 82.5hz is the predominant PL that I'm receiving on the new channels.

155.430 still appears to be a dispatch channel (North?)

154.965 (King County SO F-2/Spec Ops, and Kitsap LE TAC) now appears to be a regular dispatch channel. I think it's the south county channel.

I heard some activity on 154.995 (Old Everett PD Dispatch channel, before they went 800mhz), and it sounded like it was the Bremerton PD channel - not sure on that.

Earlier today, I heard a "marine" unit on 155.685 (repeated), may have been preparing for some pre-July 4th activity (this could have been a Skagit County Fire unit, I suppose - they use the same frequency for Mt. Vernon Fire Ops).

It may take awhile to nail down the other new TAC channels.

T68 -- you figured out the PD and shared tac lineup yet? I still haven't. It seems (like you said) that they've moved S. PD dispatch to 154.965. Perhaps that's temporary until they get everybody's radios reprogrammed? If the input/output pairs will stay the same, then it's a way for them to bridge the gap while reprogramming goes on.

I know one of the channels that they had listed as an output for a shared tac was 155.535, but I don't see how that's going to work for them. WSP Pierce West is on 155.520, and I'm guessing that there will be interference there.

I have not been listening to them much during the week. Will listen more over the weekend.

155.520 and 155.535 are the standard 15khz separation for the band. If the radios are decent and they are using full PL encode and decode, then it shouldn't be a problem (I think I saw some newer Kenwoods on the Bremerton and Kitsap SO Motorcycles a few weeks ago...). Aren't some of the newer radio supposed to support narrowband (7.5khz spacing????? Someone correct me....).

And, I'm only using a handheld to monitor them. Even though I have some elevation here, I may miss some stuff....

155.430 is still north Kitsap is everything north of Trigger, ave and all of Bainbridge Island, will have to wait and see if when and if 155.025 comes on line
154.995 it is the new Bremerton PD channel.

Right now central Kitsap and all of South Kitsap are on 154.965, there is a little problem with Fife Wa being heard on 155.685, when they get everything figured out it might go as planned, we'll just have to wait and see what happens

Everything looks good in the list that was put out last year.

155.025 has been online for a couple of weeks now, as the "Fire Response" repeater. Unless the plug has been pulled on it. I understand that there still may be some re-working on different repeater inputs/outputs, so stay tuned for more changes.

Sounds like KCSD South is now active on 155.685. With some pretty serious bleed over on Fife PD (155.6775).

I think that's exactly what happened. There had been a patch between 154.965 and 155.685, and that patch is now gone - with South traffic now on 155.685 full time. Since Kitsap SO has 154.965 in their radios as a TAC channel, I guess they used that pair so the newly programmed radios could still talk to the ones that had not been reprogrammed yet.

Still more to figure out....
