Does anyone have a good CURRENT list of US Forest Service freqs used in Washington State? I do have the aircraft freqs from the 2008 NW Mobilization Guide but no recent list for the day to day freqs. I discovered today that 171.475 seems to no longer be in use by the Snoqualmie/Mt. Baker National Forests as an input to 169.900. Olympic National Forest now seems to be using 171.475 as an input to 164.800 "Gold". During the afternoon Fire Weather report that originated from DNR South Puget and was simulcast on both DNR and USFS freqs I found it being transmitted on 164.150. This may be the new input for 169.900. I wonder if moving the forest HQ from Mountlake Terrace to Everett last year played a role in freq changes? Kerwin |

Somewhat related: The WS DNR 'state' repeaters are changing from letters to counties: instead of "State D", I'm hearing "State Thurston" or "State Kitsap". I've also noted that they're going from CTCSS to DCS - suspect that the bandwidth is going narrow at the same time, but don't have a means to confirm other than by ear. Flash |

I have been hearing 171.4750 as the input to 164.8000 since sometime last year. So far I have confirmed these inputs: 171.4750 (127.3) Gold Repeater 171.4750 (136.5) Blyn Repeater 171.4750 (162.2) u/k Both lead to the output of 164.8000 (123.0) |
