Someone has to...preferably with a camera and an eye for freq cards taped inside cockpits. I'd be there except my son's birthday is Saturday, and we have plans.

Thanks for alerting us to this. Good day there.

Helo's from the Army, Navy, Coast Guard, Customs, Sheriff, Airlift NW, slew of private machines. Lots of Law Enforcement Displays, FBI, ATF, WSP, SPD, Seattle Fire etc.

Boeing Tower was busy, as I listened and as I was taking a copter ride around the pattern.

coolest helicopter there? The DEA - simple white and blue marking with no insignias. No way to know that the bird overhead watching you is the feds. First run at trying to get freq cards pics (wife said I got dirt looks from people and after 911 dont want to draw any attention). Ill post them once I find somewhere to upload them. There was no chance to get near the DEA or Border Patrol stuff.

imageshack.us is great. Alternatively, you can use the attachment section below the submit button when replying to a thread.

Ok, my first attempt at using imageshack, so hopefully this will work. These two are from the chinook from Fort Lewis with Washington National Guard. The flight book was covering one of the cards and I just didnt have the balls to move it. I played with the contrast to bring out some of the lettering in it.

Any one know what PTW and GEG approachs are? GEG may be Spokane international (KGEG)

Sorry if some of the images are not great, but it was my first run at these (and if you could have done a better job you should have gone to the show :D )

Ok, these two are from the KCSD OH-58 “Kiowa. The Huey was also at the show. The freq card of the first one is covered on the bottom right. However, if you zoom in on the other card, you can see the bottom corner of the first card which says:

Longacres 133.77
SAR 123.1
Airlift 129.825

This is one if from SH-60b from the HSL-49 Scorpions out of San Diego:

The last group is different angles of the same card (trying to get around the knob) from one of the two coast guard helicopters (I think this is the one from Pt. Angeles, not Astoria)
