Just got home from a really late meeting to hear the tail end of a public works call on the new TRS. Public Works unit 4735 (Streets guy) called Puyallup Dispatch to inform them he was enroute to a location to remove a tree from the road. Talkgroup 592. I didn't have another radio around to check the VHF side for a patch, sorry. Unitrunker shall henceforth run whenever available. Like now. |

Rod, thanks as always for your constructive comments. Maybe you can tell me who's using what sounds like DES-OFB on 866.8625, and a NAC of 0D5? |

And Puyallup PD is chatting on 336, and testing locations and dead spots. Portable coverage out into Orting, South Prairie, and Buckley thus far. Good system. |

I'm thinking I might be getting interference from a nearby Nextel site or something, but it just started day before yesterday. |

Not sure for how long, or why, but it looks like Puyallup PD is doing it's dispatching on the TRS now. TG 336, PPD-1. Oddly enough, they were still on VHF this morning at 0410 when they went past my place in pursuit... |

I'm getting the control channel here in Bellevue @ S2 on my BC780xlt - but no channels are being displayed. Has it been disabled? |

I have no idea. It was active last night, but no one was using it. FWIW, I think they were dispatching on it Friday morning as they figured that would be a low-volume time, being a holiday and all, to test it out. |
