Not sure who or what type, but just heard and saw 2- possibly 3 Milt. Jets rip overhead here in a low but high speed fly by. I'm In Newcastle overlooking lake Wa, Right near the Seahawks practice facility. They flew from east to west and out over the water then ripped around the end of Mercer Isl. and headed North, up lake... Anyone else hear or see them? |

Depending on what time of the day it was, they were either (2) F5/T38's (They were black w/red lettering) or (2) Marine F/A 18's. The F5/T38's left BFI about 3 to 3:30P and the F/A 18's landed at BFI about 6:30 to 7P. I'm not sure where exactly [they] went but believe they parked at Clay Lacy! They F/A 18's were ripping around when they came in and did fly out east of the field before they landed! The typical dramatic entrance, which is so cool, that they usually make! |

At 6 pm there is a signal on Orderwire freq 286.1, possible E-4B or E-6B in the area. |

At 6:15 pm somebody keyed the mic a few times on 323.8, this one and 311.0 are used by the E-6B for broadcasting EAMs. |

The F/A 18's were out and back into BFI two times this afternoon. I'm sure you will either hear, see or, depending on where you live, hear them again Sunday. |

I thought he was talking about low flying fast jets flying over. The Navy E-6B is a four enging jet. This is why I thought it might be an E/A6-B |

He was, on both counts. I think the indications are that there is an exercise going on in the area involving multiple branches of the military. |
