SCFD # 7 Station 73 is now open and staffed 24/7, located at 222nd and 45th Ave. S.E. Bothell. We are now being dispatched daily by EPSCA for Automatic Aid with no delay because they can activate are digital pagers. Anyway at home in Lynnwood about 196th and 61st SW I try monitoring EPSCA Fire Dispatch 5, Tac, 1, Tac, 2, and Tac 3. very weak signal. So I remember that EPSCA still transmits but does not receive on 154.400, I plug that in to my BR-330T and what a stron signal. Can anyone comment why their old system comes in better then their newer 800Mhz TRS |

The .400 transmitter is on Norway hill. So if you're in Sno County, you're pretty close to it. And the EPSCA 800 system is pretty much terrible. Not enough sites, poor coverage, it's clearly the worst of the three KC subsystems. |

There is an EPSCA site on Norway. You might try using Seattle or KC/VC. Eastside Fire is carried on those systems as well. |

I was up in Mukilteo last week and listened to the system all the way there. It was alittle scratchy when I was in Mukilteo, but that is due to an antenna connection issue! If you are using Control Channel Only mode, put in 851.8125 and see what you hear! |

Thanks for the help! That CC you gave me looks like it is from the King County/ValleyCom Simulcast. If you want to listen to King County you have to try each site to see what is best. This site works okay for me because you can receive SFD as well. |

Glad it works for you! I have my BCT15 set up with one site that has the 3 main Simulcast CC freqs in it...868.175, 851.8125 and 868.775 w/the delay set to "0" seconds. As I go from the eastside (Issaquah) into Seattle, it just follows along and as I lose one CC it goes to the next. Works pretty well and very seldom do I lose a conversation except some of the SPD precinct Tac traffic...and that seems to be only once and awhile. |
