Its not your 246 that is doing the "bleeding"! It is a fault in the system from time to time. I have heard the same thing but in reverse....SFD dispatches on SPD talkgroups. Last week, I heard on, if I remember, SPD East, what was clearly a Public Utilties transmission. The SPD dispatcher came on and told all units to disregard the traffic as they had been receiving similiar transmissions all week long and techs were working on tracking down where in the system, it was coming from! This is just one of the many quirks of listening to radio! |

I have experienced the same thing with my BC-785 on the Snohomish County trunking system: fire calls being toned out on police talkgroups. This mostly happens when I'm mobile and near a Sprint/Nextel site, so I assumed that the interference was causing the talkgroup mappings to get screwed up in my radio. |

While listening to Seattle PD Tac 2 and Safeco (24912) I heard a pager bleeding through a few times. I didn't know there were pager transmissions in the 800s, although it could have been another protocol similar to one of the many pager protocols. |
