Had a really weird one this morning, around 1005 local. A multi-engine jet, looked like a KC135 or the like, transited the Puyallup area, north to south, with a fighter escort of 5. Yes, 5. Not sure what they were, but they couldn't have been more than 6000' agl. Nothing on the scanner when I got home, but I'm in the black hole of despair when it comes to reception here. |

At noon SOONER 82 was on 126.6 headed SE. Maybe a KC-135 from Tinker, and just before that DERBY 82 was off McChord headed east, probably a C-130. |

If it wasn't a tanker and a gaggle of receivers, maybe something related to Armed Forces day flyby somewhere? |

I'd love to listen to mil-air more frequently but I need a beam from my location to get anything remotely exciting to listen to. |
