Post subject:  Trunking help

I am using a uniden bc895xlt trunk tracker scanner. I am trying to listen from Bremerton. I have a few questions...
1-To get the best reception, does it matter what frequencies I program if I want to listen to VC Fire, Seattle FIre, Eastside fire and Tacom Fire?
2-Once I program the frequencies in, can I put VC, Sea, Eastside and tacoma in the same bank?
3-I programmed the king county (simulcast) frequencies in....are those the only frequencies I need?

I am sorry for my stupidity. I just have not used 800 that much since we don't use it over here. Thanks for the help.

1-To get the best reception, does it matter what frequencies I program if I want to listen to VC Fire, Seattle FIre, Eastside fire and Tacom Fire?

-------Each system has it's own set of freq's

2-Once I program the frequencies in, can I put VC, Sea, Eastside and tacoma in the same bank?

------You have lots of banks, just put one trunked system in a bank

I programmed the king county (simulcast) frequencies in....are those the only frequencies I need?

------ Need - is what you want to hear. Just go through the freq list's here and read through the posts here and you will get the lay of the land.
