How is this set of freqs used? If I load these will i be able to better track/scan Seattle from here in woodinville than the full seattle set of freqs? It says its located in Kenmore, thats not to far from me. |

as a intellirepeater it will hold departments in its area. a table will tell you which trunk system a department is "home" on. for example a department or unit could be home on the north repeater, disp. might only be heard there. however if the unit travels into the seattle multi-cast then the system will copy the broadcast there. so you will get most of the traffic on the seattle north but your not 100% to get it all with out looking at the seattle trunk multicast. (for systems on the seattle trunk, like key arena for example is not on seattle north intilli.) |

should i also include those intellirepeater freqs in the same bank as the seattle simulcast freqs? or is that not possible. Is one better than the other? |

well its not that one is better, its what you want to listen to. putting it in the same system as the seattle multicast wont do much but cut off conversations when it switches. in my portable, i have seattle system, in that system i have the north locked out, and if i am in that area and want to listen to something I cant find on seattle then i would unlock the system for north-intili and look for it there. |
