I'll comment on the ones I know of;

155.970 WSP [They call it] State Common - used by alittle bit of everyone within the State L.E. ie. Liquor Control, DFW, WSP
159.045 I have never heard any WSP comms on this one and I travel back and forth across state at least once a month.
159.075 This one has become more of an input freq for several of the Area systems
158.985 I didn't know they had anything on this one. I know they used to use 158.970 to dispatch for the old (when they were known as such) Fish and Game and I think they use it now for Paging.
159.105 I used to have this one in my scanner. Maybe have to put it back in and will listen on my travels back and forth across state and see if I hear anything on it. The only traffic I ever heard on it was near Ritzville and it definitely was not WSP talking on there.
155.250 I think I saw this one in an old Police Call Directory but with limited useage.
155.370 LERN (Law Enforcement Radio Network) Pretty much used all over the state.
154.935 I'm not sure about the Academy but I do know it is the Wenatchee Area frequency, which is repeated. I think one of the areas around Puget Sound uses it for a Car to Car frequency and I believe it is up north but someone else might know better than I do on that.
155.700 I know this one is listed as WSP Tac but I know it is the primary frequency for the Pine Lodge Correctional Facility west of Spokane and is now a Tac frequency (used to be their primary) for the Grant County S.O.

155.70 is no longer used by WSP. 155.70 is no longer a Tac Sqd channel. All major DOC Prisons are now using 800 mhz trunked. The WSP no longer uses 155.70 -- nor have they ever. 155.70 is licensed to the Dept of Corrections and NOT the WSP. From 1970 to 1980 the WSP Tactical Unit -- Commo Van did use 155.70. They no longer use 155.70 for any use. If you are scanning any WSP above 156.21 -- you are NOT going to hear much. The WSP now uses most 158 - 159 Mhz frequencies as inputs to common local repeaters. You can hear both base and mobile units -- on the station repeater outputs -- located from 154.665 to 155.97.

155.97 is used as a repeater output for White Pass. If I remember right they refer to it as "Summit". I can often hear it from Seattle. There used to be a simular repeater near Stevens Pass but I have not heard it for several years, maybe this is now on 154.755?

I heard White Pass the other day for the first time, what I usually hear is "Toutle" with the 136.5 tone dispatched through Kelso. It has a 158.79 input

155.970;
Also 'Slate', 'Stevens' too. Slate is north of SR20 and links Okanogan area, and Stevens goes over to Wenachee area. I think the input is the old aircraft 159.075.
Not sure which mountain Stevens is on, I think it is different than Sobieski.

I don't think they have this repeated or at least when I was there this past weekend, it was Simplex.

I can confirm, it still is simplex. But communications can 'bounce' around to Tx on different mountain tops, eg; 'sherman' or 'blue creek', or 'republic'.
Like in the old days on the west side of the state.
Of course, the communication is under district 4 office, I-90 @ X276. 4 covers whitman, spokane, pend O,, stevens and ferry, parts of adams & lincoln, off of four 'area' freqs. car2 seems to it for it's intended purpose too.

Understood on the signal 'bounce', but that frequency of 154.665, the Colville 'Area' frequency, is not repeated at this time. I believe they have been working/considering an option on how to repeat this area but not sure as to whether it will be on this frequency or not. I believe I read a thread that they had submitted to change it to 155.520 but not sure how that will work unless they change Kennewick which uses this frequency and after they moved their transmitter, it can be heard quite well in some places in Spokane.

I know of 154.845 (Lind and Colfax), 154.665 (Colville) and 154.905 (Spokane), what is the fourth frequency?

You know, maybe I was thinking Steptoe was a forth, but that is the old everett 154.845.
Also, I have not heard Colville as a repeater either, I think we both are on the same page.
The Colville/ Republic area is vast and mountains. I don't see how really, unless they go back to a voter type system, but then all the Rx's need to 'hooked' up, as you know.
'Omak', did it though, (now 'Okognogan'). That too is a huge area.
The DNR seems to have it going on with repeater coverage throughout the east side. (the real east side, not bellevue). he he.
