All right, spill. Who has frequency info?

They're licensed primarily in the UHF band in all their other stores, but nothing shows for the Lacey store, and an FCC point radius search reveals nothing.

Store/Area Extras:
Banquet/Meeting Facilities
Restaurant Live Bait
Indoor Archery Range
Boat Shop Boat Service
Dog Kennels Horse Corrals
Semi Parking RV Parking
Dump Station

The 185,000-square-foot retail showroom is an educational and entertainment attraction, featuring a décor of museum-quality animal displays, huge aquariums and trophy animals interacting in realistic re-creations of their natural habitats.

Sounds like they should need radios to run a place this big.
Check out the video tour on their web site.
Kind of like a redneck Disneyland

Cabelas just graced Post Falls/Stateline, ID with their overpriced retail presence this past weekend.

There is nothing licensed in PF either and nothing pending that I can find. Close call feature also met with negative results.

I went like the rest of the sheeple last Saturday and it was a mad house.

I saw NO conventional two-way radios in use. I saw one 'asset protection' guy at the front door with what looked like one of the below but I only got a brief glance and only saw one of these.

Everyone else, including the facilities guys who were working on the water feature were carrying Silver or Light Gold colored Motorola cellphone looking telephone devices and it looked like they might have a push-to-talk capability based on the buttons on the side of them. I saw none of these actually in use either. Have been trolling the 'netlooking for a photo but cannot find them so far.

That Motorola handheld...

Digital
900 MHz ISM license-free band
Frequency hopping spread
spectrum (FHSS).

So that may be the reason that "closecall" didn't pick it up.

Those Motorola cell phone looking devices may also be digital/spread spectrum. Fred Meyer & Home Depot use devices like that and I have
been within 2 feet of one inuse with both my Scout and my PRO-97
in Signal Stalkerâ„¢ mode and nothing shows up.

The Fred Meyer ones actually are made by Ericison and basically are a phone.
