Anyone hear the traffic on OSCCR 156.135 in the past week. At one point it sounded like a pursuit. I hear it almost every night in the early evening from Kitsap County area. A bit of static so hard to pick up informatoin on what agency it is. Just curious if anyone else has heard it and if they know where it is coming from. |

That would be my guess too, I used to hear them on Car 4 They were using it for seat belt enforcement a few weeks ago... This is my understanding of what OSCCAR is for. http://www.isb.wa.gov/committees/siec/m ... inutes.doc "This On-Scene Command and Coordination Radio (OSCCR) plan establishes a common radio frequency, 156.135 MHz, for use throughout the state, by two or more responders during periods of emergencies or disasters." "D. Use During Exercises or Training Authorized users may operate on the frequency only during exercises or for training provided: 1. Agencies within the exercise or training area that use the adjacent channel(s) to 156.135 MHz are notified and concur. 2. Extreme effort is taken to minimize the exercise or training traffic and all transmissions are short and concise. 3. All exercise or training traffic will cease and yield immediately to real operational traffic. 4. A statement will be transmitted via ACCESS to “OLYEM†|
