The Queen was more generous, though we were only there for an hour. Note: This was the hotel/casino located on Pac Highway in Fife, not the other one off Portland Ave in Tacoma. =============================================== 464.350- (DPL 754) Slots department, called "TLS" (Tribal Lottery System); simplex. 464.625- (DPL 754) Security Department; simplex 461.350- (DPL 754) Security Department "Channel 3"; simplex. Used for lengthier conversations than would be acceptable on the main channel. Heard a new phonetic term on this one; "L" spoken as "Lohan". 464.700- (100.0) Engineering department, fixing broken toilets in the hotel and chairs in the casino. Simplex. 463.775- (DPL 754) Possibly housekeeping? Hotel room bed problems and trash in the casino. A lot fo the traffic here was in Espanol though. 166.6375- (127.3) Puyallup Tribal Police dispatch; repeated. 168.375- (127.3) Input to tribal police on 166.6375 155.6775- (DPL 243) Fife police dispatch, simulcast on 159.1125. 153.9875- (DPL 243) Input to 155.6775...I think. They apparently use 155.6775 for Fife PD and 159.1125 for Milton, combining two dispatching positions during slow periods, the way ValleyComm used to do late at night for Kent and Auburn (Kent on the TRS and Auburn on 155.685). So, this input could be for either. I'm leaning towards the 155.6775 as it was Fife units on this one. |

Never used that one, Mike. AAR is part of the standard title in (many) reports I've had to write whilst working in a contract capacity. I use it on here to distinguish between a request for info, and a post of "what I've found". |

Thanks Wil. Now I understand your posts a little more. Very well done. Next time you are near the Auburn Casino --- try 453.6125 (R) and let us know what you hear. Thanks -- MTM |

453.6125 PARKING @ Muckelshoot Casino in Auburn |

I should've put that one in my Muckleshoot report, but I didn't feel very confident about it. As far as I can tell, the security department there uses three channels: 453.1625 (151.4) Security primary 453.9375 (?) Parking garage security 453.6125 (?) Possibly the security chat channel. I heard some guys talking on this one, referring to it as "two", but wasn't firmly convinced they were with the casino. Security there uses 3-digit IDs or SAM-xx identifiers. XXX would be officers, Sam-xx would be a supervisor. The guys on this freq were talking on a first-names basis about a trip to a lake for fishing. I was thinking maybe it was traffic from the somewhere else, as it was simplex and the other 2 freqs were both repeated. I plan on another trip up there in the near future, so I will look into this more. |
