Got home an hour or so ago, the trip was rained out last night and we decided not to chance the weather again tonight.
(Sorry about the short list; I didn't have a lot of listening time.)
168.875- Motorola Control Channel- IWN?
171.6125- Motorola Control Channel- IWN? Very strong, S-5.
867.7625- Motorola Control Channel, IIRC there's some sort of state prison in the GH area, Stafford Creek?
460.375- Data
154.190- (127.3) Fire dispatch in the Raymond area. Simplex.
453.400- (110.9) Grays Harbor Transit (Not completely sure on the PL though). Repeated.
155.595- (82.5) Quinalt Tribal PD or game wardens. Repeater output, never located the input. I'm unsure of the useage, as I only heard game-warden-type traffic, but never heard a peep on the other Quinalt tribe freqs I had. Dispatch ID'd as "Taholah".
151.280- (DCS 465) Ocean City State Park rangers and maintenance, simplex.
154.235- (100.0) Fire dispatches in the Moclips and Westport areas. Simplex.
451.2250 (DCS 664) Quinalt Casino Resort. Repeated, security operations.
151.490- (P25) Simplex traffic, other postings lead me to believe this was state game wardens. Interestingly enough, the traffic was very strong as a small Cessna-type plane overflew our campsite. No P-25 radio though :(
154.310- (103.5) Fire Dispatches in Aberdeen. Simplex.
154.145- (103.5) Fire dispatch, possibly Hoquiam. Simplex.

Sheriff and police:

At first, I thought the two primary channels were divided into east and west areas. However, on further thought, they may actually be divided up as "sheriff" and "city pd" channels. I was hearing PD traffic from Ocean Shores (in fact, watched a traffic stop in front of our restaurant and verifed input/PL during) on one channel, and also hearing some traffic that turned out to be from the Elma area on the same channel. Bears further investigation (and a map next time Wil!). Dispatch identifies as "Harbor" and 99% of the field units were x-alpha-x(x) numbered. I heard maybe one or two units with 3-digit ID's, they got little traffic.
Anyhow:
155.565- (167.9) West or City PD's primary? Ocean Shores, Moclips and Elma traffic heard. Repeated.
154.890- (103.5) Input to 155.565.
155.910- (186.2) Secondary for West or City PD's...OSPD officer ran a name on this one in front of me. Seems primarily for info comms, and some C/C. Repeated.
158.910- (103.5) Input to 155.910.
154.725- (192.8 ) East or Sheriff primary? Possibly also Aberdeen/Hoquiam, as I heard traffic relating to both cities, including dispatched calls. Repeated.
158.850- (?) Input to 154.725. Too far from my location to hear well.
155.310- (192.8 ) Secondary for East or Sheriff. Info comms and some chat here. Repeated.
159.210- (?) Input to 155.310. Again, too far away.
155.790- (173.8 ) I have no idea who this was. It's a GHSO license, but the dispatch wasn't ID'ing as "Harbor" as on the others, and the unit numbering scheme was strictly 3-digit callsigns...Whereas all the other units were a digit-alpha-digit (digit) scheme. Locations heard were primarily on US 101....I have a sneaking suspicion I was actually hearing the Clatsop County, OR sheriff's department. Repeated as well (!). I actually think I heard some local area traffic on this one as well, but fumbling for the radio and driving, I hit scan and lost it.
Need to take a day trip out there sometime soon. Anyone have a sweet listening spot staked out? Looking for something on top of a hill, preferably in the Aberdeen area.
