| Post subject: | Visiting Seattle on Saturday - Fire Dept Scanning Inquiries |
Hi - I am coming to Seattle for the Mariners game on Saturday, I would like to monitor the Fire Depts in the area. I need a bit of assistance. I don't plan on venturing too far from I-5 or south of Downtown. I have programmed SFD into scanner (any hints?) Do they dispatch on channel 4 still ??? I wouldn't mind listening to the following FD's: Shoreline, Bellevue, Redmond, Kirkland etc (that area) what t/g's do they use for dispatch ?? response ??? etc. I know that there is a big list, but I cannot figure out which one's to program in. I only want to heard the FD's so if I can find the proper Talk Groups that would be great. Also will be passing through Snohomish County too - I was told to used the West Simulcast for them... I am looking for any help or hints for Fire Dept scanning in the Seattle area and will gladly repay favor when you may visit the Vancouver BC area....
