Nice catch Cory, I kept getting that talkgroup in Search mode but couldn't figure out what the talkgroup was used for. Thanks Richard |

I have heard comms on TG 2000 as well, but couldnt confirm who it was. 2032 was used as a secondary channel when the main air (1712) was closed. When it opened again, dispatcher came on 2032 and said "All North units on Tac, Main air is open" Maybe there are a couple of tac channels, one for car-car and the other as a secondary channel. Or maybe the list on this site is a little off. |

This is just a thought that maybe a secondary tac channel whe sar is not using it. So when main is close the tac becomes were the disp. So the use that SAR talkgroup as a c2c intell back to normal. |

bcscanner, i think your incorrect. Every source i have checked has TG 2000 as SCSO-North Tac. It is not an East Tac TG. What is your source showing this as an East Tac Channel?? |

Well I have heard several units on East Dispatch say "Go to Tac" and they show up on 2000. Heard TG 2032 referred to as North Tactical, so obviously the "sources" are incorrect. correct me if I am wrong but cant talkgroup assignments change... |

Its a possibility that the TG assignments could have changed. Thats an Idea. Does anyone else have any "inside" info on Snohomish TRS? |

I emailed Mark McDermott who works for SERS and he sent me the Motorola talkgroup ID's for the Snohomish County Sheriff. I then converted them to decimal. Here they are. This should clear up any confusion as to which talkgroups are which. SCSO South 1648 SCSO South TAC 1968 SCSO North 1712 SCSO North TAC 2032 SCSO East 1680 SCSO East TAC 2000 SCSO SAR 1616 SCSO TAC 4 1840 |

Here is a link to there website. http://www.pacifier.com/~scounty/ This is a new website so not every tab is working yet. Hopefully in the near future we will be able to access more info regarding the SERS and how it operates. |
