pulls it off the VC If by typing "pulls it off the VC", you really mean "I heard it on the KC/VC simulcast part of the King County 800mhz Trunking Radio System", then yes- that is the LERN talkgroup. It is set up as a patch between the King County TRS and the VHF LERN frequency of 155.370. On January 28th, there was a new topic started on this subject. It's very likely that the activity listed in that topic is what you are hearing. Go back and read the topic titled "Regular Dispatching on State & National LERN". It is also possible that a regional dispatch center has patched their operating channel to LERN for a specific incident that is either going on now or has been completed - but they may have forgot to drop the patch. If you are hearing activity that DOES NOT match what that topic describes, then come back here and describe what you are hearing - perhaps our membership of experienced listeners can assist you with identifying the source.
