I'm trying to track down a story in past years that involved a teenager with an FRS radio in or near Whatcom or Skagit County. The teen heard someone on a mountain requesting help and that in turn led to a SAR response, as I recall. Anyone remember when or where this happened? I believe there was a story about this in the media somewhere, but haven't been able to find it yet. |

I think it was Mt. Hood, Oregon -- back about 2 - 3 years ago. |
