They've switched to the NB repeated system now, 159.1125 (DPL 243) with an input of 153.9875 (DPL 243). Dunno if 155.490 is gonna be kept for a c/c or tac channel, don't listen to them that much.

Yeah, I hear them there as well, but since neither Fife, Milton or Eatonville (Fife dispatches for all of the above) are licensed on there (or.685), I tended to ignore it.

Someone should DF it and find out where it comes from.

It's actually clearer here in Puyallup than the 159 freq, how does it sound in Bellevue?

Fife has lots of frequencies. Almost to many. The 159.1125 Repeater is located in the Edgewood - North Puyallup area. The 155.6775 repeater (159.1575 in) is located in downtown Tacoma. And 158.8275 repeater ( 154.0325 in ) is located in Eatonville. It appears that 153.7925 might be a car to car. However -- 153.7925 is also used on Bainbridge Island as an input to 158.8425 Repeater. 155.01 is a back up / Car to local Station Desk channel. I was told it's called " L Tac". Have no idea about the 155.49. MTM

155.490 for years was Fife and Milton's primary channel.

155.010 may be used as a tac in Fife, I never listen to it as Buckley dispatches on it, and PCSD uses it for chat in Steilacoom frequently (it's called "Small Towns").

So it sounds like 155.6775 may be primarily Fife, 159.1125 Milton, and 158.8275 Eatonville, but frequently patched together (based on repeater locations).

Listening, I heard only Fife on the .6775 tonight for awhile, yet earlier heard them and Milton, with an occasional Eatonville unit on .1125. Too many freqs, not enough consoles/dispatchers?

I shall dedicate some listening time to this in the near future.

Thanks for the info on the tone. Sometimes a good radio tech -- like myself --- will use a different tone. I was told that the WSP -- has an eye on the 155.49 channel. Only two other users on the channel -- other than Fife. Ocean Shores and College Place. MTM
