What am I hearing here. It sounds like Snohomish County Sheriff of some sort, mostly on repeater. Most units are 42 Union units, some 32 Union units.

Does anybody have a list of the different units of Snohomish County Sheriff?

It is a Snohomish County frequency, assigned to Department of Emergency Management. I have heard helo ops on the channel, and some unidentified other chatter. I suspect that it's a backwater channel since the 800mhz system came into play

Never have heard of any UNION callsigns for SCSO though.

Just heard the response to my question... Sheriff advised all units on South Sheriff channel that "Channel 5, DEM is reserved for traffic"

This explains why I was hearing only traffic stops on that channel

You know, it was interesting that I saw two units on traffic stops on 180th street, east of bothell Everett Hwy.

Both were sneak cars, a white Crown Vic, and a blue Impala. Newest generation of LED lights/arrowsticks. Never saw them in the area before.

New county ADAT unit?

There is a county wide speed emphasis going on. Traffic units from several agencies are participating and will be enforcing speed limits in several high problem areas. You may see units from out of the area working in one of these emphasis zones. There is also a likely 800 patch linked to the vhf freq that you found....

With the impending weather, they will probably move frequencies. Am sure DEM will need theirs back for the flooding.

I heard this also on the trunked system. Tons of "Union" units running traffic. I figured it was some type of traffic crack down.

Just a side note here ...

City of Moses Lake - Public Works Department uses 154.055 with CSQ.

SCSO also has a bunch of "ProAct" units out in the south end - lots of vehicle thefts, they're trying to catch some BGs.
