Gonna have to figger out WTF "WSP Car 4" is...

159.075 is NOW the INPUT to Bremerton/Shelton AREA REPEATER...
:nobs:

For a number of years now

Quote:
146.52 is Victor Charlie to me.... (Vhf Call)

But what about 144.200 (CW/SSB calling)
or 144.250 (microwave path alignment frequency)

Oh yeah... Forgot... Most hams don't know we have allocations above UHF :( :( :( :( much less the gear to actually use them :( :( :( :( :( :( :( Even more :( is the fact that there is 500 Mhz of spectrum in a single band (10,000 Mhz to 10,500 Mhz) and the dozen hams in the state with gear there only use ONE frequency...(well, the ones who have phase-locked oscillators... The rest of us have to tune around as things drift... Kinda like running those old tube boatanchors

To top it off activity there is generally confined to VHF contest weekends or whenever we can get a bunch together for a Microwave Activity Day...

155.700 is or was Wa DoC transport freq. At WSR the bus would summon the 'gate' tower to open the sally port. Was/is also used at some smaller institutions for ops.

WSP Car4- 154.935, also Wenatchee area.

160.74- L/C Moyie river.

FYI, the other day, I did hear what sounded like an emergency broadcast test message. It was a voice message and had a pretty strong signal.

UPDATE:

I've had the channels programmed for a while now and listening over the last several days. My RR activity has definitely increased and they are quite active in the morning time frame.

Notes:

1. I'm getting activity on USFS 4 which is 170.525 - it's not routine but there is traffic every once in a while.
2. WA SAR (155.16) is coming up with some dispatch-like traffic every now and then
3. June 9th, I heard on MAR 22A the USCG announcing that there was a SAR-exercise near <something> point. (Browns?)
4. I finally heard some OSCCR traffic the other day but it was very weak - probably another county.

Not so much to dispatch as to coordinate...

The Brown's Point thing was all run on rednet (153.830). Heard it recorded via ID Tracker 3. Marine 112 was the lead unit.

155.16 (103.5) Simplex KWH567 shoots off a water tank in Federal Way and is dispatch for all AMR units in the south end.

Anyone have an ID on 169.725? I have it listed as a National Park Mt Rainier frequency, but I'm hearing Dispatch/Unit traffic with Lic Plate checks. It's active as of 4pm Friday. Unit call example is #761
Address checks come back to South King/North Pierce Co

I'm also hearing white noise on 163.1 -- is that P25 traffic?

163.100 has been active for awhile now, both analog traffic with DES encryption, and P25 traffic with encryption.

Re: the traffic on MRNP, you're hearing the law enforcement rangers.

Is 154.400 used by Redmond and non-incorporated areas of King County for EMS Services? I noticed it's not being re-broadcast on EPSCA...
