I parked on what felt like a sidewalk, just to be a dick....It was about 8 inches deep at the back.

So did you have to dig with one of those super-duper REI shovels, or wait 'til an Idaho Redneck come along with a Ford and and chain?

Put it in reverse and piss off the Nissan driver?

Pulled out a guy tonight here in Spokane that had gotten his Camry stuck in a parking lot. He tried to make a parking spot where the plow had turned around. Whoops.

Only time I've ever managed to get a Subaru stuck was where the snow got to 18-20" deep. I was fine 'til I tried to 3-point turn in that, and slid into a ditch. A little work with a come-along, and I continued on my way. 18" deep doesn't sound like a lot until you realize you only have 8 inches of ground clearance :D

I yanked a snow machine out of a ditch with the 4-wheeler Saturday.
On the way back from plowing out a neighbors driveway.
How many points for that?

I'll post pics of the scenery when I get to my new duty station; ice and snow abound there Image

We've had a few searches down here where a Subaru driver thought he could take a "shortcut" road to get to US26 over to Mt Hood from I think it was Detroit Lake in the winter. We had to go fish them out because they got stuck in 6 inches of snow :P

How in the hell would anyone but a Smartcar driver get stuck in 6 inches of snow?
There's a difference between "drivers" and "owners". Just as owning a guitar doesn't make you a musician, owning an AWD vehicle (or 4WD) doesn't make you a better driver. Ya can't fix stupid.
